Today’s funny: A very heavily-accented Southerner saying “Yo yo yo, how did you find everything today?” The kicker? He was a gas-station worker. In Virginia.
And he was being serious. I promise. 
Well, the physical part of my journey northward has begun. I’ve done enough mental travel down this road. Now it’s time for the actual trip.
I’ve said the goodbyes…the see-you-laters…the until-next-times.
And it still doesn’t make up for some of the relationships and friendships I’ve made with these people for the past six years. I realize that I’m making a better place for my family — but the friends that we’ve made.
But I go on. We always seem to do so, don’t we? And I’m always up for a good road trip!
